

Valentino Fashion Group recently put forth a mandate to its US subsidiary to grow the Men's Collection business. Strategic partnerships were developed by Italy with Saks 5th Avenue, Neiman Marcus Direct and Holt Renfrew.
Souza & Associates were hired to ensure the retail success for the Fall/Winter Collection 2010.
- Planned and conducted a corporate event for senior Saks management and selected department managers. The event consisted of a luncheon and product presentation.
- Planned, scheduled and executed in-store product knowledge training seminars for each of the individual retailer stores that carried the collection.
- Provided Valentino senior management with in depth reports on competitors in each store and their current collections.
- Designed and implemented a number of promotion schemes for each stores employee and management teams; that would further enhance the sell through of the collection.
End Results
- All three retailers beat their sales forecasts.
- Individual stores had double digit increases immediately following events/training by Souza & Associates.
- All three retailers increased their open to buy for Fall/Winter 2011.
- Valentino extended their relationship with Souza & Associates for 2011.
